The Eye Behind the Story
Editorial & Documentary Destination Wedding Photographer in Mexico
It is truly an honor to know you're planning one of the most important days of your lives and that you're considering me to be part of it.
Photography is more than aesthetics. It's memory. It's legacy. It's the honest record of a moment that once existed. Your wedding day will pass in the blink of an eye. You'll be swept away by emotions, hugs, laughter, tears, heartfelt congratulations, and overwhelming joy... and before you know it, the day will be over.
The true value of photographs isn't revealed the day after your wedding, when you're eager to relive every fleeting moment because so much happened in such a short time.
Their real meaning unfolds twenty years later, when you remember how happy you were, how radiant you looked in that dress, and how confident you felt in that suit.
Photographs are the honest record of who we once were. Through them, loved ones who are no longer with us quietly return, reminding us that although our lives are fleeting, we always leave something behind.
And in the end, WHEN EVERYTHING ELSE HAS FADED, ALL WE HAVE LEFT ARE PHOTOGRAPHS.

About the Beginning
MY GRANDMOTHER'S PORTRAITS
Lately, I've found myself wondering where my love for photography truly began. The answer always leads me back to my maternal grandmother. There's something magical about a grandmother's home—a kind of magic you simply can't find anywhere else. It's a place where imagination comes to life, where family gathers, and where love is expressed in its purest and most genuine form.
Beyond the beautiful childhood my siblings, cousins, and I shared with our grandmother, one of our favorite traditions was gathering around with my mother and grandmother to look through the family "portraits"—the way she lovingly called them. We naturally looked back at the past, and although I was too young to understand the true meaning of those moments, I could already see the love with which my grandmother treasured every photograph of our family. On every special occasion, she would always say the same words: "Bring me a portrait so I can add it to the family albums." She looked at every photograph of her grandchildren with immense pride, carefully preserving each one as part of our family's story.
A photograph is far more than a window into the past. It's a symbol of love, identity, pride, and belonging. Thanks to my grandmother, I now have the privilege of doing what I love most: preserving people's stories during the most meaningful moments of their lives, so they, too, will have "portraits" to treasure and a place for them in their family albums.
Today, I document destination weddings in San Miguel de Allende, León, Cancún, and destinations across Mexico.
